Strategic Budget Advisory Committee (SBAC) Formed
The Town of Cornwall is pleased to announce the formation of the Strategic Budget Advisory Committee (SBAC), a new committee focused on improving financial transparency, long-term planning, and helping residents better understand how town tax dollars are spent.
SBAC was created in response to community interest in a more open and accessible budget process.
The committee will work with the Town Board to identify inefficiencies, support future planning, and provide clearer insight into the Town’s finances.
The committee is chaired by Sebastian Persico and includes members Scott Drewes, Steve Powell, Eileen Hartman, and James Keyes, all bringing experience in finance, budgeting, operations, and public service.
SBAC’s goal is to help keep Cornwall financially strong while continuing to provide high-quality services to residents.
