Four of Cornwall’s local businesses take part in NY Forward Grant.
One of the exciting projects funded through the NY Forward initiative is the Small Business Grant Program. Local businesses were invited to apply for funding, and a committee of local residents reviewed the proposals to help select recipients.
Four businesses have been awarded grants. While the grants do not cover the full cost of each project, they provide a significant boost, allowing businesses to make important improvements sooner than they otherwise could.
2 Alices Coffee Lounge
We are especially pleased to share that one of Cornwall’s most beloved businesses, 2 Alices Coffee Lounge, was selected to receive funding. The grant is being used to renovate and expand the outdoor patio area, making it fully accessible and nearly tripling its seating capacity. These improvements will create a more welcoming space for residents and visitors to gather, relax, and enjoy Cornwall.
Three additional grant recipients have been selected and will be announced once the required state paperwork has been finalized. The Small Business Grant Program is another example of how NY Forward investments are helping strengthen local businesses, enhance the downtown experience, and support Cornwall’s continued growth and vitality.
